WWE Announces Return To France With Clash In Paris

WWE Clash in Paris

WWE has confirmed that they will be returning to France to host another Premium Live Event.

As announced via press release, Clash in Paris will air live from the Paris La Défense Arena on Sunday, August 31st, marking the first time that a PLE will take place in the French capital. Additionally, fans will get to experience the fallout from the show the next night as Monday Night Raw will also take place in the same venue the following evening.

Speaking about the announcement in the press release, Chief Content Officer Triple H praised Backlash in Lyon the previous year for its success both financially and from a live experience:

“Backlash France in Lyon last year broke arena records and decibel levels, demonstrating just how loud and passionate our WWE fans in France can be. We believe Clash in Paris and Raw will attract people from around the world to Paris and once again create a true spectacle.”

More information regarding tickets will be announced soon. Fans can register for the pre-sale here.

Earlier in the year, Nick Khan confirmed that a Premium Live Event would be returning to the country.

WWE Returns To France In August 2025

Back in May 2024, WWE presented the first-ever Premium Live Event in the country with Backlash Lyon. Along with the chaotic tag team match between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens vs. The Bloodline and Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed Championship against AJ Styles in a critically acclaimed bout, the biggest talking point from the show was the crowd, which was deafening from start to finish. In one of the best entrances of the entire year, Jey Uso sent the Lyon fans into a frenzy.

In recent news, WWE announced the date and venue for the 2025 NXT Roadblock.
