WWE Announces New Championship For Crown Jewel At Bad Blood 2024

WWE Crown Jewel Championship

WWE and Triple H have announced a new championship for the upcoming PLE in Saudi Arabia.

Tonight’s PLE in Atlanta, Georgia began with a bang as CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match, and both Nia Jax and Liv Morgan defended their Championships. However, before Liv Morgan vs Rhea Ripley, Triple H stopped the show with a historic announcement.

The Game announced a new championship at the State Farm Arena for the upcoming PLE in Saudi Arabia. Triple H unveiled the new title, which is reportedly graced with 50-karat diamonds, and the winner at the show will be presented with the new title.

The new championship will begin a new annual tradition for the PLE in Saudi Arabia, where every year the WWE Champion will face the World Heavyweight Champion, and the WWE Women’s Champion will face the Women’s World Champion, with the winner receiving the Crown Jewel Championship.

This year as of this writing, Gunther will take on Cody Rhodes, while Nia Jax will face Liv Morgan. The Saudi Arabian PLE will take place on 2nd November, and fans are excited to see what else the promotion has in store.

Goldberg Makes Surprising Appearance At WWE Bad Blood

Toward the start of the show, fans were treated to the shocking appearance of Goldberg alongside his son Gage. The former Universal Champion was last seen in a losing contest against Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2022.

Goldberg’s contract expired later that year, and the promotion did not extend it. Although Goldberg is not wrestling anymore, he got into a heated segment with Gunther at Bad Blood.

In other news: The Stamford-based promotion has filed new trademarks related to John Cena and Roman Reigns.

Recently it was reported that a major title will not be defended at Crown Jewel.
