In November 2023, WWE and The CW announced a five-year agreement to bring NXT to broadcast television for the first time in its 13-year history. NXT joins a growing roster of live sports on The CW, including the NASCAR Xfinity Series, ACC football and basketball games, Pac-12 football games, Grand Slam Track and AVP beach volleyball.
After WWE NXT at The Met on August 19, the roster will be on tour in Europe, with Clash in Paris being the destination point. The premium live event is scheduled to emanate from Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France, on August 31.
Clash in Paris will feature John Cena, who is set to retire from in-ring competition in December. Whether he will still be the Undisputed WWE Champion remains to be seen, as he will be defending his title against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam on August 2/3.
