WWE Announces ‘I Quit’ Match At Hell In A Cell

Reigns and Jey Uso

On this week’s WWE Smackdown, Jey Uso demanded to know what the stipulations would be for his Universal Championship match with his cousin, Roman Reigns. Reigns didn’t come to the ring, but appeared on the screen to announce that the match will be the first ever ‘I Quit’ match inside the Hell in a Cell structure. He added:

“It didn’t have to be like this. I just want to help you. I love you.”

The match follows their first encounter at Clash of Champions last month, where Reigns retained the Universal Championship after a brutal beatdown of Jey led to his brother, Jimmy Uso, throwing in the towel. Since then, Reigns has demanded that Jey acknowledge him as his ‘Tribal Chief’ but Jey has so far refused, leading to the ‘Big Dog’ giving him another title opportunity at Hell in a Cell, saying:

“This match will have the highest stakes that any match has ever had in WWE history”

When revealing the a ‘I Quit’ stipulation for their Hell in a Cell match, Reigns also warned that after Jey said the words “I quit”, there would be consequences.

WWE Hell in a Cell will air live on the WWE Network on October 25th. Check back at ITRWrestling.com for all of the news and results.
