WWE has entered a new partnership with a popular cosmetics brand based in New York, with Evolution II right around the corner.
The long-awaited sequel to WWE’s smash-hit all-women 2018 pay-per-view Evolution is scheduled for this Sunday, July 13. It will feature some astonishing matches and ahead of the PLE, another new partnership has been announced the promotion.
WWE’s First-Time-Ever Cosmetic Partnership With Maybelline New York Ahead Of Evolution II
This appeared to be the perfect time for the sports entertainment capital to collaborate with Maybelline New York. The popular cosmetics brand will serve as the ‘Presenting Partner’ of Evolution this weekend at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Maybelline will also get a center mat ring branding, a custom vignette, and social media integrations. The partnership and activation strategy were developed in collaboration with Beauty Co-Lab, L’Oréal’s media agency on record. On WWE’s official website, the announcement was made earlier today:
WWE is excited to collaborate with Maybelline, a partner that not only leads the beauty industry but also shares our vision for highlighting amazing individuals across the roster.” said Brit Santypal, Senior Vice President of Partnership Marketing, TKO.
“Maybelline New York is proud to partner with WWE and have the opportunity to put our products to the ultimate test,” said Amy Whang, President of Maybelline New York. “As the presenting sponsor of Evolution, we’re not just showing up in the ring; we’re supporting a global community that inspires confidence and self-expression, both in and out of the spotlight.”
At Evolution II, IYO SKY, Tiffany Stratton, and Becky Lynch will defend their titles against Rhea Ripley, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, and Bayley & Lyra Valkyria in a Triple Threat Match, respectively. Meanwhile, Jade Cargill and Naomi will lock horns in a No Holds Barred Match. Another noteworthy contest is the Battle Royal that will determine a new number-one contender for a World Title bout at Clash in Paris on August 31.
With a stacked match card, Evolution II promises to linger on for days if the company plays its cards right. And more importantly, the show also affects the near future of WWE.
