A first-time induction set to be part of the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame.
WrestleMania 41 is just a few weeks away, and so is the prestigious 2025 class of the Hall of Fame. Multiple legendary names are set to be inducted this year, including Triple H, The Natural Disasters, Michelle McCool, and Lex Luger.
However, the list has not stopped there. Tonight, during the March 28th episode of SmackDown in London, a first-ever induction for the Hall of Fame ceremony was announced. This year, the promotion is set to induct the first-ever “immortal moment”. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart from WrestleMania 13 has been announced as this year’s “Immortal Moment”.
This will be the first match to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The match dates back to the ‘I Quit’ bout between the two from 1997, where Ken Shamrock served as the special guest referee. It is vividly remembered by the fans for Austin’s refusal to quit, and instead pass out from blood loss to Hart’s ‘Sharpshooter’.
Lex Luger Discusses Why The 2025 WWE Hall Of Fame Will Be “Special”
Set to be a part of the 2025 Class of Hall of Fame, Lex Luger recently discussed why this year’s ceremony will be special. Speaking on an episode of his Lex Expressed podcast, Luger opened up on sharing the same stage as Triple H, and how it will make the moment “extra special” for him.
“Well, I don’t know if there’s any intent behind it, but obviously, you know, I thought about, ‘Wow, I’m going in with Triple H. He’s the headliner, and that’s a huge honor going in the same class with him, with the role, and the way that I’ve seen him come from Hunter Helmsley to that. I mean, just the impact he’s had on the company and everything he’s accomplished and where the company’s headed now, he’s been a big part of that. So that does make it extra special, for sure.”
