WWE Announcer Open To One More Match

Former WWE Superstar Wade Barrett shared insights into his wrestling career, expressing gratitude for his accomplishments and indicating openness to future in-ring appearances if the right opportunity arises.

Reflecting on his WWE career in an interview with Metro, Barrett expressed a sense of contentment:

Thankfully, I was able to move on from that and enjoy a successful career, and despite having moments where I wished WWE had pushed me to the next level, now I have ‘no regrets’.

He acknowledged the success and experiences he garnered during his time in WWE, expressing pride in his achievements, including main event appearances at SummerSlam and Survivor Series, winning championships, and being a focal point on TV.

Despite his satisfaction in his role on SmackDown alongside Corey Graves, Barrett remains open to the prospect of returning to the ring if the opportunity “made sense.” He revealed that he came close to a return to the ring for the NWA when SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis approached him about working together. However, the onset of the pandemic and the subsequent shutdown of NWA altered the course of those plans.

Looking ahead, Barrett emphasised his readiness for future wrestling opportunities, stating:

I’m fit and healthy, if something came up where, ‘Okay, there’s a match here, would you be interested in doing it?’ If it makes sense to me and I was excited to do it, absolutely, I could.
