WWE Announcer Addresses Ronda Rousey's Negative Comments

WWE announcer Corey Graves has responded to Ronda Rousey’s comments that made headlines.

To promote her autobiography Our Fight, the former Women’s Champion has been making multiple media appearances ahead of the release to discuss her memoir and her time in the professional wrestling company. Not shy to let her feelings about WWE be known, Ronda Rousey has previously described it as a “sh*tshow” and has no intentions of returning. Additionally, multiple excerpts from her book describe her frustrations in detail and how things that were previously promised to her did not come to fruition.

During an interview with Sportskeeda, Graves was asked about the many Rousey comments that have circulated online. Graves responded that Rousey is entitled to her opinion but it is not something that he entirely agrees with:

“Listen, I take everything with a grain of salt and if you are in this business for any duration you let those things roll off your back. Everybody had a different experience in WWE or in the wrestling business. Not everybody accomplishes what they set out to accomplish. Some people never expect to love it and they fall madly in love with it. You look at a guy coming in from a different world like Logan Paul, who has taken to this like a fish to water. He is having a great experience. Ronda came from the combat sports world, which is a very different world despite being the same general flavour as WWE.

I’ve always gotten on well with Ronda, her personal experience is her personal experience. When my name is mentioned I can add something, but you never really fault anybody. She is entitled to her opinion. I don’t necessarily say I’m inclined to agree, I may downright disagree sometimes. But people are entitled to their opinions and I am sorry that she feels that way. She’s got a lot of fans who were grateful for her time here.”

WWE Star Responds To Ronda Rousey Allegation

In a separate interview, Rousey appeared on NewsNation to give her thoughts on the Vince McMahon allegations. While discussing her time in the company, Rousey alleged that NXT wrestler Drew Gulak grabbed the string on her sweatpants. Following Ronda Rousey’s comments, Drew Gulak issued a statement in response.
