WWE have seemingly added a new member to their Board of Directors, while speculation continues around Stephanie McMahon’s decision to take a leave of absence from the company.
While the public may be well aware of the likes of Vince McMahon, Paul Levesque (Triple H) and Stephanie McMahon, there are numerous other figures in high profile positions within WWE well away from the public’s glare.
These positions are filled by the likes of Nick Khan, Jeffrey R. Speed, and Laureen Ong and more.
It now appears that there is also another name that can be added to that list, that of Ignace Lahoud. With a recent SEC filing showing that Lahoud is now a member of the Board of Directors. According to his LinkedIn page, Lahoud has previously worked as Executive Vice President with the Walt Disney Company, and Chief Financial Officer for MRC.
The news comes as Stephanie McMahon announced that she is stepping back from her duties with the company. Posting on social media, McMahon wrote that she was taking a leave of absence from the majority of her responsibilities to focus on her family.
“As of tomorrow, I am taking a leave of absence from the majority of my responsibilities at WWE. WWE is a lifelong legacy for me and I look forward to returning to the company that I love after taking this time to focus on my family.”

At time of writing there has been no confirmation as to why McMahon has taken this decision, or how long she will be away from WWE.
It was reported after the announcement, that WWE President Nick Khan will be taking over the majority of Stephanie McMahon’s duties.
