WWE will be returning to the road from July 16th as the company begins its touring schedule once again as the world emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sports Illustrated initially reported that the company will resume life on the road on July 16th with SmackDown in Houston at the Toyota Center. Recently rumours had circulated that Fox was keen for WWE to get back in front of live fans in line with other sports in the US.
The Money In The Bank pay-per-view will follow on Sunday the 18th of July emanating out of Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The next night will see Raw take place inside the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
WWE later confirmed the news on WWE.com
It has also been reported that tickets for Money In The Bank are selling out fast.
With a return to touring in front of live fans, this news will also spell the end for the WWE ThunderDome. The company had used screens to show fans watching at home in lieu of a live crowd. The ThunderDome has been housed in the Amway Center, Tropicana Field, and most recently the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
