WWE Could Sign Another Member Of Iconic Family

Iconic WWE Family Could Add Another Member To The Company

WWE could soon add another member of an iconic family to the roster.

The Bloodline or the Anoa’i Family is the most dominant one in WWE history, with wrestling legends such as Yokozuna, Umaga, Rikishi, and recent superstars such as Roman Reigns, The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Naomi, and many more. Along with the Bloodline’s dominance, there are other wrestling families as well, who have left their mark on the WWE fans. One such example is the iconic Mysterio family, Rey and Dominik, who used to be tag team partners. Rey Misterio, the uncle of Rey, was also a highly talented wrestler and one of the biggest legends in Mexico. Now, Rey Mysterio might be interested in bringing his daughter, Aalyah, to the company.

During a recent interview with the Club 520 podcast, Mysterio opened up about taking Aalyah to the WWE Performance Center.

I just went out to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, and I had to go back in the ring, try get cleared from an injury. My daughter always had the curiosity to step in the ring, so she goes, ‘When are you taking me?’ for about a year and a half. So, I said ‘Okay, I’m going to Orlando. Let’s go.’ She went up with me she jumped in the ring and she loved it. She was hitting the ropes, rolling. I know you said the tumble. she was doing all that. Like the generic stuff, basic stuff, beginner stuff. But the ring brings it on another level. It’s crazy, especially the ropes. When you hit those ropes, she was all bruised from her back and shoulders.”

Aalyah has been involved in WWE storylines before, particularly in 2020 during the feud between the Mysterios and Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy. She first made an appearance as a child, being acknowledged during her father’s feud with CM Punk in 2010.

Given that the star is keen on taking bumps and loves wrestling, WWE could hand her a developmental contract or get her to train with some of the legends at the PC.

Could Aalyah Mysterio Join WWE Soon?

Despite the wrestling background and on-screen appearances, Rey has confirmed that Aalyah excels academically and is focused on her studies as of now. On September 4, 2025, she joined her father, along with several current WWE performers, for a training session at The Dungeon: the legendary wrestling school now run by Natalya and Tyson Kidd. The Dungeon is famous for its technical rigor and history, rooted in the legacy of the Hart family.

While her training session at The Dungeon sparked speculation about a possible in-ring career, Rey emphasized that Aalyah’s future lies in her own hands. She reportedly had fun testing herself in the ring, but has not committed to pursuing wrestling full-time. Instead, she is continuing her education with aspirations in the medical field, which Rey has proudly highlighted.
