Big E called his shot and picked his moment on Monday Night RAW as he cashed in the Money In The Bank contract to defeat Bobby Lashley for the WWE Title.
The new WWE Champion has proved to be as popular backstage as he is to the WWE Universe with names from all over the wrestling world sending their congratulations to the new champion.
On RAW, Bobby Lashley defended his WWE Championship against Randy Orton. However, all eyes were on Mr. Money In The Bank after he took to social media to say he’d be at RAW and was planning a cash-in. During the evening Big E taunted Lashley telling him that he was going to take the title one way or another. Lashley saw off Orton and then Big E did exactly what he said he’d do. A Big Ending soon followed for a happy ending for Big E who celebrated with his New Day partners Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
The official WWE Twitter account got the ball rolling with the feel-good story by changing their name to ‘BIG E IS WWE CHAMPION.’
