Wrestling Veteran Slams ‘Bad Worker’ Goldberg

Goldberg WWE

If you ask former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) manager Dutch Mantell , he’ll tell you that Goldberg doesn’t deserve to be in the Hall of Fame, this despite Goldberg being a multi-time world champion.

Back in 1999 at WCW’s Starrcade pay-per-view, Goldberg and Bret Hart would have an incident where the former would kick the latter in the head during their bout. Allegedly, the kick caused “The Hitman” to suffer an injury that would end his career. Over the last number of years, Hart has been blunt about his heat with “The Myth” due to the injury, making the claim that he should be removed from the WWE Hall of Fame as a result.

Dutch Mantell Also Wants Goldberg Out Of The WWE Hall Of Fame

Recently on his “Story Time with Dutch Mantell” podcast, Mantell would speak about Hart’s demand to take Goldberg out of the WWE Hall of Fame, saying that he, too, wants to see the former WWE Universal Champion removed out of the prestigious fraternity.

“What does taking him out of the Hall of Fame do? [Nothing] yes, sir. He’s [Hart] just mad at him. He’s pissed at him. And by right, yeah he doesn’t really belong in there. (…) I think that to take him out of the Hall of Fame, I don’t think it does anything. It just maybe appeases Bret a little bit.”

Later, Mantell would also claim that “The Iconic” was a “crappy worker,” taking a shot at his short matches throughout his career.

“Goldberg was a crappy worker. His whole career was based on 90-second matches. It’s that long then he’d get up and stick his tongue out and then walk around the ring. And I don’t even know who trained Goldberg if anybody.”

In other claims, Bret Hart has also alleged in the past that he owed him $16 million.
