Wrestling Stars Hit Out At Highland Park Shooting

Wrestling world React to Highland Park Shooting

Stars from all over the wrestling world have hit out following the senseless mass shooting in Highland Park during the 4th of July celebrations.

America’s Independence Day turned into another national tragedy as a gunman opened fire on crowds in Highland Park, Illinois.

As reported by Reuters, a gunman climbed onto the roof of a building in Highland Park before opening fire on crowds of families gathered to celebrate the 4th of July. Six people were killed and 36 wounded by the 22-year-old assailant who has since been taken into police custody.

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash reacted to the news on social media:

“Amazing that the suspected shooter who killed 6 and wounded 24 was taken into custody after a short chase. Not one officer unloaded an entire magazine into him.”

“MAGA kid does a mass murder in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood. I’d look at a possible hate crime link.”

WWE Superstar and The Rock’s daughter Ava Raine also gave her take on the tragic situation, taking note that this is the 308th mass shooting in the United States this year:

“308th .. not sure what we’re celebrating today”

Perhaps most poignantly, AEW star Colt Cabana – who was born one hour away from Highland Park – got to the heart of the matter as he asked for gun control to help prevent more needless shootings:

“Hard to think about it all day… My heart goes out for everyone back home. Please help control guns.”
