A wrestling legend recently shared what could bring him back to WWE.
In the past few months, several WWE legends and Hall of Famers have resigned with the promotion on a ‘Legends’ aka ‘Nostalgic’ deal. However, this one particular star is open to his next run for the promotion if his conditions are met.
WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle retired against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania in 2019 and was then seen in several sporadic appearances. He was last seen at RAW XXX in a segment involving Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, X-Pac, and The Imperium.
Recently, during his appearance at the K & S WrestleFest, Angle opened up on the possibilities of a WWE return, and what could motivate that move. The Olympic Gold medalist shared:
If the money was right (I would come back to manage a faction)… The spot (matters too), yeah, definitely. I think Chad (Gable) and his gang that he has right now, that would be a great idea.”
Although, open for a managerial role, Angle is not interested in an in-ring return.
I wouldn’t mind doing a spot here and there. But, if you’re gonna ask me to do a wrestling match, it’s just not gonna happen. Yeah, I could take some bumps.”
Chad Gable’s American Made faction is involved in a feud with The Wyatt Sicks, and owing to Gable’s similarity with Angle, fans have often asked for a partnership between the two.
The former World Champion is next scheduled to appear on the upcoming Game Change Wrestling (GCW) show on Saturday, November 23.
Also at the signing, Kurt Angle had high praise for this AEW star.
