When he’s not wrestling, Chris Jericho can be found behind the microphone as the lead vocalist for the band Fozzy. The group released their debut album in 2000 and has since seen great acclaim, with Jericho even using the band’s hit single Judas as his entrance music after leaving WWE.

Now, the reigning ROH World Champion is seemingly expanding his musical horizons. Season eight of The Masked Singer is currently ongoing, with Chris Jericho believed to be one of the contestants. Viewers on social media took to social media when the show aired a performance from its Bride character, who has a voice identical to Jericho’s.

Wrestling fans have commented above the tweet, believing this to be the “most obvious” Masked Singer contestant in history. One such fan noted, “They could NOT be more obvious if they tried.” Another wrote, “Who had Chris Jericho as a dinosaur bride on The Masked Singer on their 2022 bingo card?”

Other contestants already revealed in the series include Jerry Springer, William Shatner, Le’Veon Bell, and Gloria Gaynor.

The Masked Singer Appearance Is The Latest Of Chris Jericho’s Successes

Joining the upstart promotion in 2019, Chris Jericho has proven himself as the backbone of AEW. Always finding new ways to maintain relevancy, ‘The Ocho’ is now in his first reign as ROH World Champion, having previously been a one-time and inaugural AEW World Champion. This is in addition to several pay-per-view headline spots and leading both The Inner Circle and The Jericho Appreciation Society to success.

More recently, Chris Jericho has been praised for his handling of the various pieces of backstage drama that have emerged from the AEW locker room. Fightful Select mentioned that, following the events of the All Out media scrum, he, Bryan Danielson, and Jon Moxley conducted a locker room meeting that is said to have been a morale booster for many.

Chris Jericho will next compete at Full Gear on November 19, defending the ROH World Championship against Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Sammy Guevara.
