WrestleMania 39 Will Feature Celebrity WWE Hall Of Famer

WrestleMania 39 Logo

According to a recent WrestleMania 39 poster, the event is set to feature an appearance from celebrity WWE Hall of Famer Snoop Dogg.

The poster, posted on WWE’s official social media accounts, shows Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns front and center, with numerous other WWE Superstars at the bottom. Snoop Dogg is pictured along with John Cena, Logan Paul, Becky Lynch, and multiple other performers, confirming that he is set to be part of the blockbuster event.

It is unclear at this time what the rapper’s role will be in Los Angeles, though it’s very possible he could be involved in a segment with The Miz as Miz was recently revealed to be the event’s host.

Snoop Dogg Has Appeared At WrestleMania Before

Snoop Dogg has made a number of appearances in WWE in the past, most notably when he rapped his real life first cousin Sasha Banks to the ring. On that occasion in 2016, Banks (now known as Mercedes Mone) faced both Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in a triple threat match to crown a WWE Women’s Champion after it was announced that the Divas Title was being retired. Charlotte, who entered the match as Divas Champion, emerged victorious in the bout.

Snoop Dogg was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the previous night, joining the ranks of Pete Rose, Drew Carey, and Mike Tyson in the celebrity wing. Also inducted on that night as part of the class of 2016 were The Godfather, Stan Hansen, Jaqueline, The Fabulous Freebirds, and Big Boss Man.

WWE also introduced a Legacy wing to the Hall of Fame in 2016, and the posthumous inductees that year included Mildred Burke, Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Ed “Strangler” Lewis, Pat O’Connor, Lou Thesz and “Sailor” Art Thomas.

Though no inductees have officially been announced for the class of 2023, it is expected that Hollywood icon and former WWE Champion Dave Bautista is set to be inducted in Los Angeles, CA.
