WrestleMania 39 Set To Make WWE History

WWE WrestleMania 39

WWE heads to Hollywood for WrestleMania 39 in what is gearing up to be the biggest in history.

The annual supershow takes place over two days at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Night 1 kicks off proceedings on April 1st, with Night 2 continuing the spectacular event on April 2nd.

The event is already a record-breaking one having set an all-time gate record for the company. Now, according to Dave Meltzer speaking on the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this year’s mega-show looks to be a history-maker for WWE.

“WrestleMania on 4/1 is at 56,242 and 4/2 is at 56,805. They are set up for 57,776 right now but that capacity will change as more tickets are sold. They can legit get 65,000 with a normal set-up and expand to 95,000 if needed, which won’t be needed. They’ve already thrown around 80,000 as the figure they will announce. The get-in price has dropped a little this past week to $50 for night one and $70 for night two, so there’s no late surge of ticket demand this week. That’s nothing negative as the overall two shows will be the most successful week for big show business in history and easily be the most-viewed WrestleManias to date.”

WrestleMania 39 Main Events Confirmed?

Ever since Cody Rhodes punched his ticket to Hollywood by winning the Royal Rumble it was pretty much confirmed he would meet Roman Reigns in the main event of Night 2.

Now, it seems as though the other Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley is heading to the main event of Night 1.

After winning the women’s Rumble match, The Nightmare announced she will challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in a long-awaited WrestleMania title rematch.
