WrestleMania 38 takes place on 2 and 3 April, but with just five weeks to go, the card is reportedly still up in the air.
WWE’s thirty-eighth annual WrestleMania event is just over a month away, due to take place on Saturday, 2 April (titled WrestleMania Saturday) and Sunday, 3 April (titled WrestleMania Sunday) from Arlington, Texas’ AT&T Stadium, but as it currently stands, a lot of the card is currently unknown to WWE management.
This is according to Twitter user WrestleVotes, who has been reliable for breaking news in the past before it’s been made official. They write that the card is “very fluid” as of right now, which is why there has been some vagueness with WrestleMania-related angles and matches as of late:
We are roughly 5 weeks out & I’m told the WM card is still very fluid. Hence the reason for the vague Edge promo, the 2 week delay on the tag title match & the MSG title defense for Brock. Creative is leaving a ton of space in nearly every storyline to allow major flexibility.

As of this writing, five matches have been made official for the two-day event. The main event for each respective night will see both Royal Rumble winners challenging for championships; Ronda Rousey faces Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, while Roman Reigns defends his Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar, whose WWE Championship will also be on the line.
Elsewhere, Bianca Belair, who won the Elimination Chamber match last weekend, will contend Becky Lynch‘s Raw Women’s Championship, while Rey and Dominik Mysterio will face The Miz and Logan Paul. Edge has also issued an open challenge, though it’s unclear if his opponent will be unveiled prior to WrestleMania itself.
The unknown card is reported to be the reason as to why the Hall of Famer’s promo from Monday’s Raw was so vague. “The Rated R Superstar” referenced numerous Superstars, leaving the field open regarding his latest ‘Mania opponent.
