Brock Lesnar hasn’t wrestled since November 5th at WWE Crown Jewel but he’s still as in demand as ever.
At time of writing there’s no news on when Lesnar will be back in the ring, although it’s widely assumed that he will be involved at the Royal Rumble. The only question is who will have the task of standing across the ring from The Beast?
Drew McIntyre Sets Sights On Brock Lesnar
One man who doesn’t seem content to wait and see whether he’ll get the call is Drew McIntyre. Appearing on the Sony Sports Network, McIntyre said that he wants Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. The Scottish star added that it will be a battle whenever he and Lesnar cross paths again.
“I’ll take him [at Royal Rumble 2023]. I wanna get that extra victory over Brock.
If Brock and I cross paths again, it’s gonna be a battle.”
Its time to say #NamasteDrew 🤝

Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar have an extensive history going back to 2020. That January, Lesnar entered himself into the Royal Rumble Match despite being the WWE Champion. The Beast claimed that there was no one worthy of a shot at the title, so entered the 30-man match instead. Lesnar was in typically dominant form until the arrival of McIntyre who eliminated him.
The Scottish Warrior went on to win the match and set up a clash against Lesnar at WrestleMania 36. At the event McIntyre overcame Lesnar to win the WWE Title for the first time, although sadly for him there were no fans in attendance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. McIntyre has since become a two-time champion although he has now been without the gold since February 2021.
Drew McIntyre only recently returned to action after suffering a ruptured eardrum at Survivor Series.
It was recently reported that Brock Lesnar could be set for a clash with Intercontinental Champion Gunther at WrestleMania 39.
