Former Raw & NXT Champions Pitched For Edge’s Stable [POTENTIAL SPOILER]

Edge Damian Priest

After Damian Priest aligned with Edge at WrestleMania, multiple interesting names have reportedly been pitched to join their stable!

WrestleMania 38 saw Edge victorious over AJ Styles after an appearance from Damian Priest caused a distraction to the Phenomenal One and allowed the Rated R Superstar to hit a spear for the win. After the match, Edge and Priest posed in the ring, sealing their alliance with a maniacal grin.

Rumors of a new heel stable led by the WWE Hall of Famer have begun to surface, and a new report from Fightful Select revealed that one name pitched to potentially join the stable is none other than former Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. Names from NXT have also been pitched to join the faction, including that of former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, who bid farewell to the NXT crowd after his match with Tony D’Angelo at NXT: Stand & Deliver.

The report does note that this is far from confirmation that Ripley or Ciampa will be joining Edge and Priest, just that her name has been bandied about by those backstage and plans are always subject to change.

Ripley competed at WrestleMania 38 alongside Liv Morgan in a fatal four way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship that also included the teams of former champions Carmella & Queen Zelina, Shayna Baszler & Natalya, and new champions Sasha Banks & Naomi. This marked the first WrestleMania win for Sasha Banks, who was very emotional after the match.
