Willie Mack Officially Departs IMPACT Wrestling

Former X Division Champion Willie Mack has announced his departure from IMPACT Wrestling and says he is now taking indy bookings.

Willie Mack had been part of IMPACT Wrestling since joining the company back in 2018. Since then Mack had formed a partnership with Rich Swann before going on to become the promotion’s X Division Champion in April 2020. Mack held the title for three months before losing it to Chris Bey at that year’s Slammiversary.

Willie Mack took to social media after the airing of the 5th of May edition of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV to announce that was to be his last appearance for the company:

After last nights Impact episode I am no longer with @IMPACTWRESTLING. My contract has expired and I decided to decline their new offer. So now I’m gonna be doing my thing on the independents. Hit up if you want to see me in ya city or town. #MackMode”

In what was his final appearance for IMPACT Wrestling, Willie Mack once again tangled with Chris Bey as Mack and Rich Swann fell to defeat at the hands of the Bullet Club duo of Bey and ‘Switchblade’ Jay White.

During his career, Willie Mack has also competed in promotions such as the NWA where he held the NWA National Championship, as well as AAA, House of Hardcore, and PWG.
