Three new signings – including the son of William Regal – have joined Meiko Satomura in NXT UK, WWE has confirmed.
Japanese wrestling legend Satomura appeared on NXT UK this week via video package, and WWE has now confirmed the 40-year-old’s status with the company – as well as announcing the signings of Tony Gill, Metehan Kocabasoglu and Bailey Matthews.
The quartet join recent signings Rampage Brown, Aleah James, Sha Samuels and Ben Carter.

The WWE Universe, of course, will be no stranger to Meiko Satomura, who competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, taking on Toni Storm in the semifinals. Satomura also co-founded SENDAI Girls’ Pro Wrestling, and is a former PROGRESS Women’s Champion.
Tony Gill is a former IMPACT star, then known as Gursinder Singh, who trained under Lance Storm.
Metehan Kocabasoglu, formerly known as Lucky Kid, almost became a professional footballer before switching from the pitch to the squared circle. Metehan is a former wXw Champion and has competed against the likes of Timothy Thatcher, Ilja Dragunov and NXT UK Champion WALTER.
Bailey Matthews is the son of William Regal, and a former NJPW Young Lion who reportedly wrestles in an old-school British style – much like his father.
NXT UK continues every Thursday at 8 pm on WWE Network and repeated Friday at 10 pm on BT Sport in the UK.
