On the March 8th episode of Monday Night RAW it was announced that William Regal will make a second ‘game-changing announcement’ on the upcoming March 10th episode of NXT.
During the March 3rd episode of the black and gold brand 2021 Dusty Cup winners Dakota Kai and Raquel González took on Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
The champions retained their titles after Adam Pearce got involved in the match after the match referee got taken out. Pearce sent a RAW official into the ring who would award the win to the champions via submission despite Shayna Baszler having the Kirifuda Clutch locked in on Dakota Kai who wasn’t the legal competitor.
After a heated confrontation backstage, William Regal declared that he would make a ‘landscape changing’ announcement the following week.
At time of writing there has been no indication of what either of the announcements could mean for NXT.
The upcoming edition of the show is set to feature two major title matches with both the NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championships on the line, Finn Balor will face-off against Adam Cole whilst Io Shiari will look to avenge her May Young Classic loss to Toni Storm.
