William Regal doesn’t think highly of acting legend Hugh Grant, and called him out for stealing an iconic look!

A new trailer for the film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves premiered today at the San Diego Comic Con. The trailer centers around a band of thieves and also featured a glimpse of actor Hugh Grant sporting a robe similar to those worn by William Regal throughout his wrestling career.

When one fan pointed out the similarity on social media, Regal didn’t mince words when it came to calling out the actor.

“I’m a British Icon, they all copy me. Dear Hugh has even stole my Robe design bless him. At least be original petal!”

A fan replied to his tweet with a short clip of him and Curt Hennig during their days in WCW in which Regal was seen besmirching the name of the legendary actor. Once again, the Blackpool Combat Club manager took the opportunity to make it known what he thinks of the rom-com star.

“Filmed in’95. That’s what I thought of Hugh Grant then, and I’m being polite.Even if he has stole my look and no doubt what else for his new film. Bless him! Then again, fair play to him for a quick one round the wall of death for a tenner. Shame he got caught !”

Based on the popular tabletop roleplaying game, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is expected to air in March of 2023 and stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, and Sophia Lillis.
