Will Ospreay’s tour of the UK has had another date added with IMPACT Wrestling.
Fans who have tickets for the Newcastle stop on the IMPACT Wrestling UK tour will get to see The Ariel Assassin live on October 27th at the Walker Dome. The upcoming tour means that the 3 biggest promotions in the United States have all hosted UK dates in 2023.
This will be the furthest point north that Ospreay has competed at in the UK, having already competed in cities outside of London such as Doncaster, Lincoln and Birmingham this year alone.
Tickets for the show can be purchased at this link.
Fans in the USA will get to see Ospreay make his return one week prior as the former IMPACT wrestler will return to the company at Bound For Glory.
Will Ospreay Receives 28th Five-Star Match Rating
Not content with competing in front of over 81,000 fans inside Wembley Stadium, Ospreay also competed for RevPro the day before AEW All In. Facing off against Shingo Takagi in the main event, Dave Meltzer has rated the match five stars in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The result brings the IWGP UK Champion to nearly 30 of the prestigious ratings overall, more than anyone in history.
Nearly having back-to-back five-star matches at the first-ever AEW UK event, Meltzer would rate Ospreay’s match against Chris Jericho 4.75 stars.
Ospreay has been very vocal about the fact that he will become a free agent in 2024 as his current deal with New Japan is due to expire early next year. The Ariel Assassin has remained tight-lipped on where he plans to sign with next but is open to all offers.
