Will Ospreay will be back in IMPACT Wrestling in October.
In the hours after his popular win at AEW All In it was announced that the British star will be appearing at IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory. The event will take place on October 21st at Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois.
Although Ospreay is primarily signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, he regularly makes appearances in the United States and the UK. In recent years, Ospreay has appeared numerous times on AEW television and starred opposite Kenny Omega at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. His most recent outing for the promotion came at All In at Wembley Stadium where he defeated Chris Jericho.
The night before the show, the star appeared at RevPro Anniversary XI where he defeated Shingo Takagi. After picking up the win, Will Ospreay was attacked by Jericho, furthering their feud before the match at All In.
Recently Dave Meltzer shared his thoughts that Will Ospreay will not sign with the WWE full-time.
When Did Will Ospreay Last Feature For IMPACT Wrestling?
Ospreay hasn’t wrestled in IMPACT since making a brief stop in the promotion back in 2016. The star wrestled five matches over a three-day period when the company held a run of shows in the United Kingdom.
The British star recently got the internet buzzing when he said on AEW Dynamite that he’ll be a free agent in six months’ time, adding that he’s expecting a seven-figure contract.
Continuing to work with the promotion, Ospreay will also be returning to the UK on the upcoming tour.
