As was expected, Roman Reigns downed Logan Paul at WWE Crown Jewel, continuing his legendary reign as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. The contest saw involvement from The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Jake Paul, the latter of whom decked both Jimmy and Jey Uso in his first appearance for the sports entertainment giant.
The match was heavily touted, both ahead of the event and coming away from it. It’s believed to have been the best of the eight-match card, lasting just under 25 minutes and concluding with a Reigns-executed Spear to reach day 798 as champion.
Fans and wrestlers alike have sung the praises of the match, including those from New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Will Ospreay, the reigning IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion, tweeted after the match that the bout was “sick”.
That was so sick !!
