Will Ospreay Announces Engagement To New AEW Signee

The Hilarious Way AEW Star Will Ospreay Wants To End His In-Ring Career

Will Ospreay has announced his engagement to his new AEW signee.

A part of the All Elite Wrestling roster for the past several years, Ospreay has now announced his engagement to this new AEW signing, Alex Windsor. Earlier today, via a post on X(Twitter), Ospreay revealed the good news. The former International champion shared the image of an engagement ring on Windsor’s hand, confirming their to-be-married status. The ex-champion giddily wrote:

“She said Yes”

Ospreay and Windsor have reportedly been together since 2020 and have now taken their relationship to the next level. Earlier last week, it was announced at a Pro Wrestling EVE event in London that the British indie wrestling star Alex Windsor had signed a new contract with All Elite Wrestling.

Ospreay often mentions his “missus” during his on-screen promos or tweets. With them now engaged and on the same promotion, fans expect to see the couple together on their television screens.

Will Ospreay Addresses Recent AEW Criticisms

Last month, before Double or Nothing 2025, Will Ospreay appeared on Busted Open Radio and addressed the ongoing criticisms about his hair and on-screen dressing sense.

“It’s essential (to be honest with the audience). For me, I think the more I show vulnerability and the more — I know that one of the criticisms I get, not just about my hair, but like… dressing appropriate for the role I wanna be as one of the top guys and I do understand that to an extent. But I feel like more of the authentic that I dress, the more that people relate to me. I’d just done an interview over in a news studio.

I feel like because I am dressed in a certain way, I look way more presentable. Like, I come down a level and it’s more of like I’m way more humble, I’m way more approachable in that sense and I think that’s the reason a lot of people have gravitated more towards me in that sense.”
