Will Jesse Ventura Be At WWE Saturday Night's Main Event Amid Hulk Hogan Rumours

Will Jesse Ventura still be making an appearance at the upcoming WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event special on January 25th?

After first announcing that he was back with WWE and had signed a new contract earlier in the year, Jesse Ventura was later confirmed as being a part of the returning Saturday Night’s Main Event in December 2024. Appearing alongside Joe Tessitore in multiple segments and providing guest commentary for the main event match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, many were pleased with the Hall of Famer’s performance on the show.

It was later confirmed that Ventura would be a part of all Saturday Night’s Main Event shows moving forward. However, with the next special just a few days away, there has been no confirmation on TV that Ventura would be part of the event. In addition to this, it is heavily rumoured that Hulk Hogan, who Ventura has had issues with over the years, is set to be in attendance and make another appearance just weeks after his disastrous return at the Raw on Netflix premiere.

Discussing Ventura’s status on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that both Ventura and Hogan are set to be on the same show:

“All I know is the last I heard, which was the day of San Jose, was that he was on. He was told he’s on all the shows in 2025. So if he’s off, it’s a detail within the last week and a half. They didn’t push him, but yeah, he was told he’s on every show. It was definitely pointed out to me that him and Hogan are going to be on the same show.”

Meltzer added that he does not expect Ventura and Hogan being in the same building to “be a big issue.”

Why Is There Animosity Between Jesse Ventura And Hulk Hogan?

Ventura’s issues with Hogan go all the way back to WrestleMania 2, which saw the announcer attempt to unionise the locker room. Plans to form a union were scrapped when Vince McMahon was informed of Ventura’s intentions, which the Hall of Famer later found out that Hogan was the one who told McMahon about the plans. In a 2024 interview, Ventura made it clear that he had no intentions of burying the hatchet with Hulk Hogan, stating that he felt betrayed by what took place.

Hogan only recently admitted that he was the one responsible in September 2024 as part of his participation in the Mr. McMahon Netflix docuseries.

In a further update, Jesse Ventura has issued a statement regarding his appearance at the event.
