WWE NXT Premium Live Events have undergone a change in branding in 2025.
On February 15th, Vengeance Day kicked off the 2025 PLE calendar for the developmental brand with Stephanie Vaquer winning the Women’s North American Championship, Giulia retaining her NXT Women’s Championship in the main event and Jordynne Grace making her return to the brand.
Ahead of the show, fans noticed that the event was being marketed as WWE Vengeance Day as opposed to NXT Vengeance Day, leading to speculation about the change in branding.
As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the reason for the change was due to the company feeling that it would work better for the developmental brand if WWE branding was attached to the events.
The next NXT Premium Live Event scheduled is Stand & Deliver, which will take place over WrestleMania weekend on Saturday, April 19th.
WWE NXT Stars Set For TNA Matches
On top of the fallout from the PLE, the February 18th NXT saw stars from TNA appear both in person and via video. Kicking off the show with another TNA debut, X-Division Champion Moose interrupted Oba Femi and announced that a match between the two champions would happen at some point. Later in the show, Matt and Jeff Hardy appeared via video and announced that they would be making their return to the company the following week to take on No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights and Myles Borne.
