Why WWE Hall Of Famer Still Has No Interest In Burying The Hatchet With Hulk Hogan

Why WWE Hall Of Famer Still Has No Interest In Talking With Hulk Hogan

WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura does not have any intentions of patching things up with Hulk Hogan following the events that took place more than 30 years ago.

Looking to form a union among the wrestlers around WrestleMania 2, Ventura rallied the boys together and told them that now was the time to unionise. Receiving an angry phone call from Vince McMahon days later, Ventura was later informed that McMahon was tipped off by Hogan when asked during a later lawsuit.

Fast forward to 2024 and Jesse Ventura recently appeared backstage at a WWE Raw taping and stated that a contract had been agreed upon between both sides. Despite this, Ventura does not want to patch things up with Hogan.

Jesse Ventura Wants Apology From Fellow WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan

Appearing on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Ventura was asked now that he has a repaired relationship if he would consider burying the hatchet with Hogan, to which the Hall of Famer gave a brief response:

“No.”

When asked if he would be open to a conversation, Ventura remained unsure and said the following when asked about the last time he spoke with Hogan:

“I don’t know, he betrayed me.”

Ventura then recounted the story of how Hogan ratted out Ventura to McMahon when the Hall of Famer tried to rally the locker room into forming a union. When it was brought up again that a conversation could happen given the amount of time that had passed, Ventura voiced his objections to Hogan supporting Donald Trump and wanted an apology first:

“Well, when you have a guy who’s as narcissistic as Donald Trump, it ain’t gonna happen until I hear an apology from him. [From Hulk Hogan?] Yeah. [What does Donald Trump have to do with that?] He’s the narcissist like Hogan. You know, birds of a feather flock together. I heard he was at the Republican Convention. I already heard about that, Hogan was there. Somebody wrote here they’d have done better with Doink the Clown. It was in the paper here ‘Doink The Clown would have been better.’”

Also in the interview, Ventura voiced his objections to Trump, who is also a member of the WWE Hall of Fame:

“I have an objection to one of these candidates. And I object to him, and I can say him so you know who it is now. I can object to him because he is in the wrestling Hall of Fame and I’ve almost resigned from it on two or three occasions because of that.”

In 2024, Hulk Hogan was trolled at a recent event.

In 2025, an update was provided on the odds of Jesse Ventura being at Saturday Night’s Main event given that Hulk Hogan is also rumoured to be at the show.
