Despite being signed to WWE contracts, two notable names have yet to make their debut on TV and potentially factor into The Bloodline storylines.
On the SmackDown after WrestleMania 40, the next stage of the Bloodline storyline began as Solo Sikoa made himself the new leader of the group and introduced Tama Tonga. More additions took place over the next couple of months with Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu also aligning with Sikoa to form Bloodline 2.0.
As the group continued its storyline on SmackDown, backstage reports later confirmed that both Hikuleo and Lance Anoa’i had also signed with the company, prompting speculation that they would be imminently factored in the Bloodline Civil War alongside either Roman Reigns or Solo Sikoa. However, as of the time of writing, neither has appeared on TV.
In an update by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Lance Anoa’i remains side-lined with injury and will be out of action until “well into 2025.” In regards to Hikuleo, the former NJPW Strong Openweight Champion has been on the internal roster for months but was not factored into creative plans upon being signed. Fightful are working on an update regarding Hikuleo’s status.
More Additions To The Bloodline?
The Bloodline Civil War storyline wrapped up in January 2024 when Reigns defeated Sikoa in Tribal Combat on the Raw on Netflix premiere and was officially acknowledged by The Rock after the match. Since then, Sikoa, Tonga and Fatu have been competing in the mid-card, recently competing against Braun Strowman, Jimmy Uso and US Champion LA Knight.
With the next phase unknown, there is still the possibility of more members being added to the group. In a 2024 interview, a Hall of Famer discussed the possibility of Naomi becoming a part of The Bloodline.
