Kurt Angle has always been extremely open to discussing his past demons.
A decorated Olympian gold medallist and a WWE Hall of Famer, Angle has also enjoyed an extremely successful pro-wrestling career. With multiple championship wins across multiple promotions, Angle has also experienced his fair share of ups and downs.
Struggling with pain killer addiction during his career’s peak, the former World Champion has overcome that stage and is now clean and sober. Always open to discussing his past demons, Angle recently explained why he never shied away.
In a recent interview with TribLive, Kurt Angle claimed that he talks about his demons to spread awareness and motivate people to get better.
“It is important I use that platform to be able to talk about my life story and hopefully help people out by talking about mistakes I’ve made about my addiction, how I overcame that, and what I had to do to make that happen. I am a pretty open book about my life. I want to share that with people to hopefully give them motivation to go ahead and get their lives in order if it has turned into a mess. I tell them my story and how I have been clean and sober for more than 14 years. I get a lot of great responses. I am just happy to be able to motivate people to better their lives.”

Kurt Angle Is All Praises For Roman Reigns
Speaking with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda, Angle named his dream opponent from the current roster as Roman Reigns. Speaking highly of The Tribal Chief, Kurt Angle heaped praises on Reigns for his ability to overcome the negative fan reaction from his early career.
“Roman Reigns, because he’s the best. He has improved dramatically from when he started. The company had the rocket behind him when he wasn’t ready, but he was able to adapt and make himself ready. What he was able to do is something that’s almost impossible. A lot of fans were like, ‘Why are they pushing him so hard?’ Now you know why. Because he’s really talented.”
