“Whoever Wrote This Should Be Fired” – WWE Star Responds To Reports Brock Lesnar Has Locker Room “Heat”

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar lasted for a surprisingly short amount of time in the 2023 Royal Rumble, being eliminated by Bobby Lashley after only two minutes and 28 seconds, the least amount of time The Conqueror’s been in any Rumble match.

Lesnar entered at Number 12 and things started off well for him as he sent Angelo Dawkins, Chad Gable, and Santos Escobar flying over the top rope. However, as he seemed to be about to throw down with Gunther, Bobby Lashley’s music hit and The All Mighty made a beeline for the Beast Incarnate.

After some back and forth, Lashley got the best of their exchange and Clotheslined Brock Lesnar over the top. The frustrated star took his anger out on everything in the ringside area, tearing apart he announcer’s table and throwing steel steps on top of it before taking Baron Corbin down with an F5 on the floor and attacking a referee.

Following the show, Fightful Select reported that, although the “freak out” was planned, the attack on referee Eddie Orengo was not, and the incident led to “a little heat” on the star, although nothing that would get him in real trouble.

Booker T denies Brock Lesnar had heat after Royal Rumble

On the latest edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T hit out at these claims, saying whoever reported it “should be fired”.

“Whoever wrote that story, man, they should be fired. What do they call heat? What do they know about heat first of all? I mean, what do they know about heat?

“You know, if Brock Lesnar got heat, trust me, he’s not gonna know about it [laughs]. Who’s gonna go tell him? Who’s gonna tell him? You know what I mean, because this guy’s drawing money to the show, all right, that’s why.

“I mean, he’s a major player. He’s Brock Lesnar and you know my thing has always been I’ve never cared about heat. If the boss didn’t say I had heat, I never had heat.”

Booker went on to claim that Lesnar was unlikely to have heat in the locker room since he has never even seen him in one. He finished by saying he believes Lesanr just did his job.

“So, I don’t think the boss is gonna tell Brock Lesnar. I don’t think the boss is gonna formulate the words, ‘you got heat with us Brock Lesnar.’ I don’t think that’s gonna happen.

“So, when I first saw this story I just shook my head and went, ‘wow! Somebody really had to go there. Brock Lesnar’s got heat.’ In what locker room?

“I’ve never seen Brock dress in the locker room in these last 10-15 years. He’s a big star. He’s got his own bus. So, when I hear stuff like that, in what locker room are they talking about? I think he did his job.”
