“Who The F*ck Does She Think She Is” – Lacey Evans Blasted By Family Of Sgt Slaughter

Controversial WWE Superstar Lacey Evans has enjoyed mixed success since signing with WWE in 2016.

The former United States Marine Corps Military Police Sergeant made her NXT debut in October 2016 having spent four years on active duty, initially under the ring name of Macey Estrella before becoming Lacey Evans in 2017.

Evans competed in the inaugural Mae Young Classic, defeating Taynara Conti in the first round before losing out to Toni Storm in round two.

Victories over Kairi Sane, Dakota Kai and Candice LeRae would sooner follow and officials were so impressed that a main roster debut came in the 2019 Womens Royal Rumble match, with Evans entering the match at number 1 and lasting almost 30 minutes before being eliminated by Charlotte Flair.

Evans was assigned to the Raw brand and feuded with Becky Lynch, including an unsuccesful tilt at the Raw Womens Championship at Money In The Bank. A move to SmackDown came in the 2019 Draft and turned face ahead of an unsuccessful attempt to dethrone SmackDown Womens Champion Bayley at Royal Rumble 2020.

An intended feud with Charlotte Flair involving her Father ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair was shelved owing to Evans’ real-life pregancy, with the Superstar doing little of note until a return ahead of the 2023 Womens Royal Rumble, including the debut of a new finisher modelled on Sgt Slaughter’s famous Cobra Clutch manoeuvre.

Lacey Evans New Persona Upsets Sgt Slaughter’s Daugher

Evans would resurface again on the June 2nd episode of WWE SmackDown, her first outing since March 24th when she teamed with Natalya in a bid to qualify for the Women’s WrestleMania Showcase.

An unsuccessful attempt to qualify for Money In The Bank followed with Zelina Vega beating the former NXT star.

It was Evans’ new attire that caught the most attention however, with the new Sgt Slaughter inspired look seemingly upsetting the WWE Hall Of Famer’s daughter, who took to Twitter to slam Evans and WWE for the new look:

“No. This is NOT okay. @WWE

Who the fuck does @LaceyEvansWWEthink she is?!? There’s only 1 @_SgtSlaughter, there’s only 1 Slaughter Daughter, and she’s just a poser.”

Evans was quick to respond via her own Twitter account and suggested that she was not a difficult lady to find:

“Your daddy’s biggest fan. A United States Marine. And a bad Mfer.

you know who I am. And where to find me.”

Rumours that Evans also had backstage heat recently have previously been dismissed.
