When Will Randy Orton Return To WWE?

Randy Orton is expected to be back in WWE very soon.

The Apex Predator has been absent from TV for the best part of 2 months to sell the effects of an attack by Kevin Owens, which saw KO deliver a piledriver to Orton on SmackDown. Orton was stretchered out of the arena and no storyline updates have been provided as to when the 14-time World Champion will be making his return to TV.

While it was previously stated that the WWE star would not be one of many big names present for the Raw on Netflix premiere, fans won’t have to wait long to see Orton back in the ring.

Speaking about Orton on Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass podcast, WrestleVotes stated that Orton will return in the Royal Rumble match or shortly before the Premium Live Event:

“By the Royal Rumble, you know, if not on February 1st, it’ll be beforehand. So yeah, very soon.”

Hall Of Famer Calls Out Randy Orton

2025 will mark 23 years since Orton made his debut on the main roster. With 14 World Championships, 2 Royal Rumble victories and multiple WrestleMania main events to his name, Orton has one of the most decorated records in company history and is guaranteed to be a future Hall of Famer.

A man of many nicknames, Orton was known as The Legend Killer in his earlier years as he went after Hall of Famers such as Sgt. Slaughter, Shawn Michaels and even looked to end The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania. Discussing Randy Orton in a recent interview, one WWE Legend pointed out that he had never been on the receiving end of an RKO.
