When Will Logan Paul Face Jey Uso For The WWE World Heavyweight Title?

Logan Paul is reportedly set to challenge Jey Uso for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship later this month.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, following Paul’s surprise attack on Uso after the 5 May edition of Raw, Dave Meltzer reports that WWE is currently planning for the two stars to meet at the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event on 24 May. The live event, which will take place in Tampa, Florida, is expected to feature the championship bout as its main event.

“The Jey Uso title match with Logan Paul is right now scheduled to be taking place on the Saturday Night’s Main Event show, which has 9,224 tickets out in Tampa and has an $83 get in price. The television set up for the building is 9,762 so it’s a lock to sell out.”

Despite promotional material for the show prominently featuring John Cena, including his image being used on the official event poster, Meltzer suggests Cena is unlikely to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship on the night.

“The advertising of the show is based around Cena, so one would think he’d wrestle,” Meltzer noted. “But having both Cena and Uso defend the titles seems like a lot for a television show. Especially when you don’t even do that for the PLE shows.”

As of now, more than 9,200 tickets have already been distributed for the event at Tampa’s Yuengling Center, with Meltzer noting a strong $83 get-in price. The venue is set up for a capacity of 9,762, making a full sell-out likely.

Logan Paul’s inclusion in a World Championship storyline continues his high-profile run within the company, while Uso, who recently captured the title from Gunther at WrestleMania 41, prepares for another major defence just over a month into his reign.

Why Did Logan Paul Recently Apologise To “Stone Cold” Steve Austin?

Logan Paul recently issued an apology to “Stone Cold” Steve Austin for discussing a conversation he had with Austin where he offered him $1 million to appear at WrestleMania 41 dressed in a giant Prime bottle. Paul said that he shouldn’t have discussed private business conversations publicly and hopes he hasn’t ruined his relationship with the legendary Texan.
