Despite winning the 2025 Elimination Chamber and earning himself his 17th World Championship shot at WrestleMania 41, The Leader Of Cenation, ‘sold his soul’ to The Rock. Leaving the Toronto crowd in disbelief, John Cena officially turned heel.
However, immediately following the turn, bad news awaited the fans. Appearing on the Elimination Chamber post-show press conference, TKO board member Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson shared a critical update on Cena’s future.
The Final Boss revealed how Cena had flown in from Budapest to Toronto for the Elimination Chamber and will miss the next episodes of Raw. Johnson further revealed how he would be traveling to Africa for some reasons. Despite turning heel and starting one of the best feuds in the promotion, Cena will be absent from Raw or SmackDown for the next two weeks.
Cena is next scheduled to appear on the 17th March episode of Raw in Brussels, Belgium alongside Cody Rhodes, who has also been advertised for this show. Fans now need to eagerly wait for the next few weeks as the entire Rock-Cena-Rhodes drama unfolds.

“What I felt tonight, and I’ve been a part of some really phenomenal professional wrestling angles and as a kid growing up I’ve seen, we all have, some amazing pro wrestling angles. I felt like tonight stood beside all of those that were the iconic angles.”
