The date of CM Punk’s next match in WWE looks to have been revealed according to a new report.
Closing out his rivalry at Bad Blood, Punk emerged victorious in his Hell in a Cell match against Drew McIntyre. The brutal and bloody affair saw both men go to war inside the structure with Punk collapsing after all was said and done.
Appearing on Raw 2 days later, CM Punk detailed the nature of his injuries, said he hadn’t seen his wife in 5 weeks and stated that he would be taking some time away. While Punk has no reported injuries, many are under the assumption that the time off is also so he will be written out of any involvement in the upcoming Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia.
In a new update on WrestleVotes Radio, Punk looks set to be on the card for Survivor Series in late November:
“We are hearing that he is scheduled for Survivor Series at this time. So his hiatus will be brief through Crown Jewel we’re told, but as of right now he is pencilled in for the Survivor Series card.”
The show will also mark one year since Punk made his historic return to the company in Chicago.
CM Punk Names His Favourite Matches
Punk’s Hell in a Cell match against McIntyre was critically acclaimed with Dave Meltzer warding the contest 5 stars, Punk’s first since his match against John Cena in 2011. Prior to the match taking place, CM Punk spoke about his career and listed which 3 matches he is the most proud of.
