When Is WWE Planning To Host Their Next Event In Saudi Arabia?

WWE will be announcing the details of another international show in the near future.

Following on from Elimination Chamber back in February, other confirmed shows outside of the United States include Backlash in France, Bash in Berlin in Germany and Money in the Bank in Canada. On top of this, WWE will continue their contracted commitment to Saudi Arabia by hosting 2 shows in the Kingdom before the end of the year.

With the last Saudi Arabian show held in the spring being Night of Champions, which took place on May 27th 2023, many are expecting the next event to be around this time. According to a new report and calendar listings, the date may have been revealed.

As reported by PWInsider, the company are looking to host their next event in May 2024, which would be around the same date as the 2023 spring show. As is seen on the event listings, no SmackDown date is listed for Friday, May 24th, meaning that the event is likely going to take place the next day as the go-home episode is pre-taped the week prior to allow the roster and crew to travel to the Kingdom for the show. There has been no word as to what the name of the event will be.

If the show does take place on the 25th then it will be a full weekend of action for wrestling fans as NXT Battleground has been announced for May 26th. Additionally, if this date is confirmed, this will mean that 2 PLEs will take place in the month of May as Backlash has been announced for May 4th.
