When Does Becky Lynch’s WWE Contract Expire?

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch was riding high coming out of WrestleMania 39, having scored the pinfall victory as she teamed with Lita and Trish Stratus to take on Damage CTRL in trios action.

However, things took a turn on the April 10th episode of Raw. Lynch and Lita were scheduled to defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against the team of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on the episode, but after Lita was found attacked backstage, Trish Stratus stepped into the match in her place.

Liv Morgan rolled up Trish for the pinfall victory, earning tag team gold for her and her team. After the match, an upset Lynch tried to console Stratus in a show of friendship, but Stratus responded by attacking Lynch from behind and then laying her out with a Chick Kick.

While Stratus is advertised for the April 17th episode of Raw, Lynch took to social media ahead of the show to declare that she wouldn’t be in attendance. Fans noticed that she’s lost her Twitter verification badge, and she’s also using her real name of Rebecca Quin as her name on the social media platform, leading fans to wonder whether her time with WWE is coming to a close.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, however, the star is signed to the company through June of 2024 after signing a new deal when she returned to the company in 2021 after giving birth. Time spent away due to maternity leave was reportedly not a factor.

Continuing, the report revealed that according to WWE sources, Lynch has not yet begun negotiating with the company about a new deal.

Becky Lynch Is Currently Injured

According to a report for WRKD Wrestling, the reason for Lynch’s absence from Raw is that she’s dealing with an injury. Fightful Select noted that the injury in question is a minor foot injury that’s been exacerbated recently.

Fightful Select also quotes a source within the company as saying there are “no issues to their knowledge between Becky Lynch and WWE.”
