While Samoa Joe may have been the talk of the wrestling world after signing with AEW, a new champion has done the same as Wheeler Yuta is All Elite.

Yuta was a standout on the independent scene before he began making appearances for AEW in June 2021. While appearing in AEW Wheeler Yuta had been closely associated with the Best Friends group teaming frequently with Orange Cassidy.

In recent weeks, however, the 25-year-old’s head had been turned by William Regal and his Blackpool Combat Club of Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley. After Yuta and Chuck Taylor lost a tag team bout on Dynamite against Moxley and Danielson, Wheeler Yuta went back to the ring and offered a handshake to Regal, only to be met with a vicious slap to the face.

On the 30th of March edition of Dynamite, William Regal expressed admiration for Yuta as he fought valiantly in a losing effort against The American Dragon in singles action. After Ring Of Honor Supercard, Yuta might have something else that will impress Regal as he defeated Josh Woods on the show to capture the ROH Pure Championship.

Following that victory, AEW and ROH owner Tony Khan announced on social media that Wheeler Yuta was now officially All Elite.

Also on the ROH Supercard show, Samoa Joe shocked the world as he made his debut for the company where he made his name before later revealing his goals in both Ring Of Honor and AEW.
