Roman Reigns is preparing to work his fifth match of the year so far. The SmackDown Superstar continues to battle The Vision on RAW, and now Reigns must deal with one more obstacle before his WWE Premium Live Event return.
WWE will invade BP Pulse LIVE in Birmingham, England for the Clash In Paris go-home edition of RAW. The final red brand outing before the inaugural Clash In Paris PLE will air next Monday on Netflix, as it happens at 3pm ET. WWE has announced two matches for the show: Penta vs. Kofi Kingston, and Rhea Ripley vs. Roxanne Perez. Nikki Bella will also appear.
RAW from Birmingham will open up with Roman Reigns. It was announced during tonight’s SmackDown from Ireland that The Head of The Table will kick-off Monday’s episode for a follow-up to this week’s show-closing attack on The Vision, to assist Jey Uso in securing his Extreme Rules main event win over Bron Breakker. The chaotic scene included CM Punk and LA Knight.
Reigns wrapped the show by challenging Bronson Reed for Clash In Paris, which was later confirmed. The Tribal Chief has vowed to win their first-ever singles bout, and to keep stealing Roman’s sneakers. Reigns is not currently advertised for the post-PLE RAW from Paris.
WWE Releases Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre Director’s Cut
WWE held its inaugural Clash at the Castle PLE from Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on September 3, 2022. This was WWE’s first major UK stadium event since SummerSlam 1992, and the first UK PLE since Insurrextion 2003.
Clash at the Castle: Cardiff was headlined by Roman Reigns retaining the Undisputed WWE Championship over Drew McIntyre in almost 31 minutes. McIntyre has been vocal about why the moment was so bad. As seen below, WWE has just released the Director’s Cut of the 30th and last McIntyre vs. Reigns singles bout, which put their series at 30-0 in favor of The Tribal Chief.
“Enjoy a new perspective in this director’s cut of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre’s immense battle at Clash at the Castle 2022,” wrote WWE.
WWE did not hold a Clash PLE in 2023, but the company returned to The OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on June 15, 2024 for Clash at the Castle: Scotland. Roman was off the card, but McIntyre came up short in the 20-minute main event against then-World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest.
