The 2024 edition of WWE Elimination Chamber took place in Perth, Australia and had heavy WrestleMania XL implications, especially regarding World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
The current champion was in attendance at the Optus Stadium to see who emerged from the unforgiving structure to challenge him at the Show of Shows on April 6th.
Rollins didn’t perform in the ring at Elimination Chamber but rather participated in the Grayson Waller Effect talk show segment with Cody Rhodes. During the segment the two Bloodline rivals stood firm and issued to strong warning to Roman Reigns and The Rock, but according to a Fightful Select, Rollins was scheduled for a very appearance at the PLE.
What were WWE’s plans for Seth Rollins at Elimination Chamber?
The outlet reported that Rollins not being in action at the PLE was due to the hometown star Bron Reed being unable to attend the event.
Reed was a surprising absence from the Elimination Chamber which he later explained was due to the birth of his child. Taking to social media Reed revealed the reason behind his Elimination Chamber absence.

Fightful reported that the original plan for Rollins and Reed was for them to face off in a championship clash. The source indicated that Reed was set for a major spot on the card and would challenge the Visionary for the World Heavyweight Championship.
