Triple H allegedly doesn’t like one aspect of R-Truth’s WWE return.
R-Truth shocked the wrestling world at the 2025 Money in the Bank after returning at the main event to attack John Cena, who was tagging with Logan Paul against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. His return caused a lot of discussion regarding his departure, mainly whether it was real or not.
When Triple H was asked about this during the Money in the Bank post-show press conference, the Chief Content Officer said it was all part of the show. However, the superstar himself later said that he genuinely departed the company. As it turns out, there may be a reason why the CCO had a different answer.
According to Fightful Select, a veteran in the company said that Triple H doesn’t like it when fans “hijack” creative. The site also shared that the veteran expressed “in a very colorful manner” that they didn’t believe it was a planned angle.
The report also said that several superstars dismissed Triple H’s comments about R-Truth’s exit and return a work, especially after the superstar’s son dismissed this as well on social media.
More Details After R-Truth’s WWE Exit And Return
In the same report from Fightful Select, R-Truth’s reported co-worker for over a decade shared that the superstar would never fake or lie about them about a departing storyline. At most, Truth would most likely ask them to just not say anything about it. They added that even Triple H knows that lying or “working” the roster is in “horrible taste.”
Finally, another reported friend of R-Truth shared that in the week of the former United States Champion’s absence from WWE, it was hard to feel good as it felt like “Santa Claus” was fired. However, the mood is different now following his return.
