What Is The ‘Last Monster Standing’ Match Announced For WWE RAW 09/30?

Major Change Announced For WWE Raw Ahead Of Netflix Move

WWE has announced a ‘Last Monster Standing’ match for next week’s RAW episode.

The big men of RAW, Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed have been engaged in a heated feud against each other for the past few weeks. With Reed originally causing havoc on the roster with his nonstop Tsunamis on Seth Rollins and R-Truth, he found himself a challenge against the ‘Monster among men’ Braun Strowman.

The former Universal Champion then faced Reed in a match before suffering a brutal fate, when Reed crushed Strowman in the parking lot on top of a car. It raised the stakes of their feud as the former NXT North American Champion again caused Braun Strowman a shot at the Intercontinental title one week later.

As the attacks followed this week on RAW, general manager Adam Pearce announced a match between the two for next week’s 09/30 episode. Pearce announced a ‘Last Monster Standing’ bout. What is a ‘Last Monster Standing’ match?

Just a play of words, the ‘Last Monster Standing’ is nothing but the regular ‘Last Man Standing’ match with the word ‘man’ swapped with ‘monster’ because of Strowman and Reed’s physicality. The only way to win the match is by keeping your opponent down for a ten count from the referee.

Next week at the Ford Centre in Evansville, the two big men will collide inside the squared circle, as fans anticipate a violent night.
