WWE SummerSlam ended following the brutal Last Man Standing match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, but what happened after the camera’s stopped rolling?
From the outset of the main event Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, the action was brutal. Lesnar was sent crashing through a table before fighting back and using the broken table as a weapon. With momentum back in his favour, Lesnar threw Roman Reigns into the bucket on the front of the tractor before dropping him into the ring.
From there, the two men did everything they could to destroy each other. Both came within inches of victory, and Lesnar even thought heβd won at one stage but Reigns got back to his feet. But the most insane moment of the match came when an irate Beast returned to the tractor with Reigns laying in the ring.
Lesnar then used the tractor to tip up the ring, throwing Reigns to the floor. It wasn’t enough to keep The Tribal Chief down though and the action continued.
Reigns and The Bloodline eventually got the upper hand and after finally getting Lesnar down, they piled everything they could find on top of The Beast for Reigns to continue his dominant reign as champion.
After The Bloodline left the arena and the camera’s stopped rolling, what happened next? Inside The Ropes’ own Kenny McIntosh was at the Biggest Party of The Summer and captured the aftermath.
Brock Lesnar was able to free himself from the mountain of equipment and furniture he was buried under and climbed up the ring he tipped over to salute the crowd with his cowboy hat before sitting down in exhaustion.
