“We’re Going To Make A Ton Of Money On AEW All In” – Tony Khan

AEW President Tony Khan

Tony Khan is predicting big things for AEW All In.

On August 27th, AEW heads to the United Kingdom for the first time, and the company is doing it in a big way. More than 80,000 fans are expected to cram into Wembley Stadium for what will be one of the biggest wrestling events in history, and the first to be held at the iconic venue since SummerSlam 1992.

Speaking to CNBC’s Street Signs ahead of the show, AEW boss Tony Khan broke down just how big the event will be for the company. Khan said the extravaganza is already “wildly profitable” and could be the promotion’s biggest pay-per-view ever.

“We’re going to make a ton of money on AEW All In. Frankly, before the pay-per-view, it’s already a wildly profitable event based on the ticket sales, which are massive, in the neighborhood of $10 million in tickets we’ve sold. We’re going to have 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium. It’s going to be all kinds of attendance records and a great evening of pro wrestling.

The pay-per-view advances have been incredibly strong, our biggest in years, one of our top two of all-time and possibly our biggest ever for pay-per-view when it’s all said and done. It’s so huge as a live event that it’s already guaranteed to be a profitable event,”

What Does Tony Khan Think About The Future Of Pay-Per-View

AEW All In will be available via traditional pay-per-view and on Bleacher Report, but Tony Khan has often spoken about AEW content moving to Max. In conversation with CNBC, Khan reiterated this dream, stating that he loves the platform.

“Potentially, we could land, I would love on Max. That would be an amazing thing. Max is certainly my favorite streaming platform and the streaming platform of my bosses at Warner Brothers Discovery, the people who carry AEW in US, India, and many great territories. I believe that together, we can come up with something special. I would love to land on Max, home of all my favorite shows,”
