[Watch] Michael Cole Hilariously Botches During Massive WWE Debut

Michael Cole WWE

Michael Cole made a hilarious botch after a top star debuted at WWE Night of Champions.

Night of Champions saw some enthralling action with some stellar matches. One of the matches saw Solo Sikoa win his first title on the main roster as he defeated Jacob Fatu. The bout also saw an interference from a returning Tonga Loa and the WWE debut of a top star, who was added to The Bloodline.

While the angle went smoothly for the wrestlers involved, the same cannot be said for the legendary Michael Cole. The longtime commentator had a hilarious botch during the debut of Tala Tonga (fka Hikuleo).

Michael Cole fumbled hard during Hikuleo’s WWE debut

Michael Cole, whose prowess on the mic is second to none, fumbled really badly as Hikuleo emerged out of nowhere to attack Jacob Fatu at Night of Champions. The legendary commentator did not know what to say. It was obvious that he prevented himself from using the name Hikuleo as WWE soon changed it, but he also did not know what to say, as there was clearly no directive given to him.

Cole fumbled and said the following:

That’s Tonga Loa- Tama-Tonga, their brother.”

Check out the botch below:

It was later revealed that Hikuleo, who is a former NJPW star and brother of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, would be known as Tala Tonga.
